Explore the rich legacy of the Moghul Empire in India, wander in the footsteps of Shahjahanabad through the narrow bazaars of Old Delhi, experience the colours of Rajasthan and gaze in wonder at the eternal monument to love, the Taj Mahal in this value packed 6 day tour of the Golden Triangle.

DAY 1
ARRIVE DELHI 
Our driver will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Your evening will be free to take advantage of the complimentary Ayurvedic Massage we provide to counter jetlag and relax you. Overnight in Delhi

DAY 2
DELHI 
Delhi is not just one city but many cities in one. There are a myriad of ways to explore Delhi but today we would suggest a trip to Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad) where you can visit the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. You may like to wander around the bustling bazaar of Chandni Chowk, or take a thrilling ride in a cycle rickshaw. Later in the day see New Delhi. Designed by the British architect Lyuttens, New Delhi is often referred to as Lyutten’s Delhi. Drive through the tree lined avenues of Lyuttens Delhi passing the Rastrapathi Bhawan and India Gate to visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, tallest stone tower in India and legacy of the Humayun Era.

DAY 3
DELHI – JAIPUR ( 250 KM / 5 H)
Morning after leisurely breakfast drive to the Pink City, Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital city of the colourful and exotic state of Rajasthan, and was designed by the Maharajah Jai Singh II in consultation with astrologers and architects when he moved his city from Amber on the outskirts of what is now the modern city of Jaipur. Explore the colourful and bustling local Rajasthani baazars of the Pink City like, Baapu bazaar and Johri Baazar.

DAY 4
JAIPUR
Morning is the best time to take an elephant ride to Amber Fort, take an elephant ride to the top. Spend the afternoon exploring the old city taking in the Hawa Mahal (palace of winds), City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and Royal Gaitore.
Overnight in Jaipur

DAY 5
JAIPUR – AGRA ( 250 KM / 5 H)
En route to Agra, visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the Taj Mahal for an unforgettable sunset viewing of this “tear drop on the cheek of time.” 
Please Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. 
Overnight in Agra

DAY 6
AGRA – DELHI
200 KM / 4 H
Morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi. There will be time for you to do some last minute shopping, we suggest the Arts and Crafts Market for some unusual less touristy gifts and souvineers of India. There is also a large export reject market and the Government of India State Emporiums.
